Pipit

Pipit's Song Pipit's Song
Alene Roberts

The girl held her breath as she slowly lifted the mirror. She gasped in shock. A stranger stared back at her! “I don’t recognize myself!” This can’t be! She thought. Yet- there was a vague familarity about the face. “I have a black eye as well as a lump. My haircut is horrible … and I’m certainly no beauty – in fact I’m … homely!…”

She closed her eyes and tood a keep breath, hoping it was all terrible mistake. Opening them, she gazed into the mirror once more. “It isn’t a mistake!” Her voice rose in hysteria. “I can’t remember anything! Who am I!” A wave of unreasoning panic seized her … So begins the gripping journey of a young woman – to find herself, and discover the one man who can love and cherish her.

In this emotional saga of mystery, suspense and love, Alene Roberts has surpassed herself. The characters draw you into their world, their lives. Readers will find a depth and richness that will uplift and inspire.

Alene Roberts is one of my favorite authors and captivates audiences beyond belief. This was the second book by Alene that I read and became one of my instant favorites. The plot is adorable, the characters endearing, and the overall story is one that you will not soon forget. I would DEFINITELY reccomend this book to any reader.
